Łukasz Wodzyński is an assistant professor of Polish at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Toronto. He taught Polish and Russian languages, literatures, and cultures at the University of British Columbia and the University of Toronto where he was an acting director of the Polish Language and Literature Program. His research interests revolve around modernist and contemporary Polish and Russian literatures, postcommunism, the romance mode, and representations of adventure experiences in modern fiction.
